About this Event
Would you like to learn the amazing transformative life-tool that is Reiki? Do you want to learn how to heal imbalances, support yourself energetically and emotionally, and share this healing practice with others too? Anyone can learn Reiki. You don’t need to have any prior knowledge, you don’t need to be a spiritual guru. What you need, is an open mind, an open heart, and a willingness to learn. Trust your intuition.
What you will learn:
- The history of Usui Reiki Ryoho
- The ethos, idea and principles of Reiki
- Hand positions and method for self-treatment & for treating others
- Understanding the chakras
- Cleansing & grounding rituals
- Meditation practices
- Connecting to the aura
- Learning to feel energetic imbalances and areas which require healing
Over the two days I will share with you the knowledge that has been passed down through a lineage of Reiki Masters, linking us back to the founder of Usui Reiki Ryoho - Usui Mikao Sensei. In addition I will share with you everything I have learnt through my own experience and journey as a Reiki Master. The two day course is a mixture of theoretical learning and practical exercises, with the opportunity to work together and practice with other participants of the course.
In the first level you learn the technique for sharing Reiki with yourself and others, this includes people, plants, animals, food, spaces & crystals. There will be an opportunity to practice giving a Reiki treatment to another person during the course.
During the training you will receive an attunement, which is a traditional initiation into working with Reiki. It is a tuning ritual, enabling you to connect to this frequency of energy for the rest of your life.
After completing the course it is advised that you undertake a 21 day self-cleansing and healing period, by giving yourself a Reiki self-treatment each day for 21 days.

The course price includes a manual, which contains all the information covered in the training, and a certificate. As your Reiki Master/ teacher, I will continue to be available in the future for support and guidance.
Q: “I haven’t had any experience of Reiki - should I get a treatment before I join the course?” ~ No, this is absolutely not necessary. There is no need to have any pre-experience of Reiki. I will teach you everything you need to know over the two days, and you will experience receiving and giving Reiki treatments during the course.
