Leica.Connect | SL3-P Experience with Bret Curry
About this Event
Join us for a special Leica.Connect experience on Saturday, July 18, from 1:00–3:00 p.m., celebrating the launch of the new Leica SL3-P with photographer Bret Curry.
This hands-on photowalk offers a unique opportunity to photograph alongside Bret as you explore the streets surrounding Leica Store Boston. Throughout the afternoon, he'll share his approach to capturing movement, working with changing light, building compelling compositions, and telling authentic visual stories in dynamic, unscripted environments. You'll gain insight into how he reads a scene, anticipates decisive moments, and transforms what unfolds in front of the lens into intentional, impactful photographs.
About Bret Curry
Bret Curry is a Texas-bred cinematographer and photographer working primarily in commercial and documentary. He has shot for esteemed clients and networks including AMC, National Geographic, A24, and Apple, to name a few, as well as several Super Bowl ads and other international campaigns. You can find examples of his work at @bretcurry and www.bretcurry.com
A limited number of Leica SL3-P cameras and SL lenses will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, giving participants the opportunity to experience the system beyond the showroom in a real-world shooting environment. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own camera, and all camera systems are welcome.
Guests wishing to borrow Leica equipment should bring a valid photo ID, a credit card (to be held for the duration of the event), and a compatible memory card, as memory cards will not be provided.
Bring your curiosity, your creative perspective, and comfortable walking shoes. Space is intentionally limited to ensure a hands-on, conversational experience with plenty of opportunities to learn and create.
Please note that all Leica loaner equipment must be returned to the Leica team before the conclusion of the event.
