Class size: up to 7 students
Saturday, March 22nd AND Saturday, March 29th, 10:30AM-1:00PM
(This class is a combined total of 5 hours, 2.5 hours on Saturday, March 22nd, and 2.5 hours on Saturday, March 29th)
This class is available for adults and teens 14+!
Class Description: In this class, students will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. These 4 fundamentals are what is necessary to follow patterns and make anything one desires with 2 sticks and some string. We will make a simple washcloth. This class is for beginners, absolutely no prior knitting knowledge is necessary.
Artist bio: As a lifelong knitter and creator, Karla fulfilled one of her many dreams by opening Magpie's Cottage, a local yarn shop with her business partner in 2008, and in 2014 they also started wholesale distributing yarns to other yarn shops in North America. Karla is passionate about teaching people to work with their hands, creating beautiful items to enjoy or give to others. She is a published designer and creates knitting patterns for both personal and professional use.
Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel, please do so at least 72 hours prior to the class for a full refund. Last-minute cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If we have to cancel the class, you will receive a full refund!
