Leadenhall Treasure Hunt

Take part in this fun treasure hunt and discover the historic passages of Leadenhall Market.

Collect your treasure hunt clues from the SoLo Craft Fair Shop, then set off on an adventure through the beautiful passageways of Leadenhall Market as you solve each clue.

Once you’ve completed the hunt and worked out the secret word, return to the SoLo Craft Fair Shop and tell the team your answer. If you’re correct, you’ll receive your prize! Along with your prize, you’ll also receive a short Leadenhall ghost story to enjoy with your team.

The SoLo Craft Fair Shop represents over 100 different makers and designers, showcasing a wide range of independent crafts and gifts. While the treasure hunt is free, we’d love it if you could support our shop by having a browse before or after your adventure.

Expected duration: Approximately 30 minutes
Recommended age: 5+ (children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult)

Turn up at any time during the time slots to take part in the Hunt.

• The streets of Leadenhall Market are cobbled, which may make access difficult for some visitors.
• Some clues will take you close to the main road, so please take care.
• As the treasure hunt takes place outdoors, some answers may occasionally be covered or harder to spot due to building works or weather conditions. If you get stuck, feel free to pop back into the shop for a hint. The treasure map should help guide you if needed.

For an extra challenge (especially for adult groups): try completing the hunt without looking at the clues printed on the map!
