Laurence Juber, the Grammy-winning lead guitarist for Paul McCartney & Wings, brings the rocking side of Wings’ great repertoire to the fore with his dynamic band, AIRFOIL! Juber’s tenure in Wings brought a refreshing energy to the legendary band that Paul McCartney formed following the end of The Beatles. “Getting Closer,” “Spin It On,” “Arrow Through Me,” and the Grammy winning “Rockestra” crackled with an electricity that added unforgettable moments to the Wings’ catalog, and Juber’s Airfoil delivers them all alongside other classics including “Maybe I’m Amazed,” “Junior’s Farm,” “Jet,” and “Band on The Run.”
Laurence Juber, is also a prolific solo performer, recording artist, composer, arranger, and producer. He has established himself as world-renowned guitar virtuoso fusing folk, jazz, blues, pop, and classical styles creating a multi-faceted performance that belies the use of only one instrument. He formed the band AIRFOIL, with a group of A-list musicians who re-create the rockin’ side of WINGS. Laurence performs live frequently. Whether with his band or solo, his shows always include entertaining stories from his illustrious career.
