Professional Contemporary Dance Inspired by Cultures Around the World
Experience the second chapter of Contemporary Encounters, an ongoing performance series by Laura Armenta Dance Company celebrating the beauty of contemporary dance through multicultural artistic expression.
Presented as part of the Celebration at Fountain Street Church, this special performance explores the vibrant dialogue between contemporary dance and the rich rhythms of South America.
Featuring original choreography alongside company repertory favorites, the performance reflects the company's commitment to artistic excellence, cultural curiosity, and meaningful human connection.
But the experience doesn't end with the performance.
When the final piece ends, the experience begins.
Following the performance, audience members of all ages are invited to step onto the floor with the dancers for an engaging interactive workshop. Learn a few movements, ask questions, and experience contemporary dance from the inside. No dance experience is necessary,only curiosity.
Whether you are a longtime supporter of the arts or discovering contemporary dance for the first time, this is an invitation to experience movement as a universal language.
