Join Friends of Aberdeen Park for a Community Gathering and Tree Giveaway!
Meet us in the orchard at Aberdeen Park on Saturday, September 12th from 3-5pm to meet and spend time with neighbors, help plant a tree in the Aberdeen orchard, and take home a tree for your own yard.
Event Details:
• Bring your own picnic, blanket, chairs, or snacks (*note: food will not be provided)
• Tree giveaway (25 trees- first come, first served!)
• Tree planting demo
• Help plant fruit trees in the Aberdeen Orchard
• Yard Games
Tree Giveaway Species List:
• Dawn Redwood
• Shingle Oak
• Swamp White Oak
• Sycamore
• Serviceberry
• American Hornbeam
• A limited number of fruit trees
*We cannot guarantee numbers for these varieties, and the trees will be first come, first served
