Launch of the Milton Keynes Sustainability Strategy and City Action Plan

Milton Keynes City Council is launching the updated Sustainability Strategy and City Action Plan, which sets out how we will accelerate progress towards net zero, support green economic growth, strengthen climate resilience, and improve the wellbeing of residents and businesses across the city and rural areas.

This half day conference brings together a wide range of partners to share ideas, explore local innovation, and build the relationships needed for delivery.

Hosted in partnership with Santander at Unity Place, the morning includes:

• a clear overview of the Sustainability Strategy and our shared vision
• a short interactive segment to identify shared priorities across sectors
• opportunities to connect with partners and explore collaboration
• a networking lunch to continue conversations

Key outcomes

• create momentum and a positive story around the updated Strategy
• strengthen cross sector connections and encourage shared ownership
• highlight local projects and partnerships
• support organisations to identify their role in delivery

Optional session A practical Heat Networks workshop will run 1.30pm to 3pm
