Are you aged seven to twelve years! Join us in the central library for a very special event with award-winning author-illustrator Jen Carney
About this Event

At the event Jen will talk about her comedy novels, perform a reading from her latest book, and lead an illustration activity.

After that, there will be an opportunity for children (aged 7 to 12) to ask questions.

To finish, every eligible child will be gifted a brand-new copy of Jen’s latest book, THE DAY MY BROTHER GOT FAMOUS, which Jen will sign and dedicate.

Ticket Information

  • Tickets are required for every attendee
  • Only attendees with a book ticket will receive the book (these tickets are limited to children aged between 7 and 12)
  • Additional (free) tickets are available for accompanying adults (and children who fall outside of the age range)
  • To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask that children remain under the close supervision of their accompanying adults throughout the event. In the unlikely event of disruptive behaviour, we may need to ask the family to conclude their visit early.
  • No refunds will be made for this event
  • 1 book per book ticket
