About this Event
If you have been to a previous LNS event, please note the address change!
Are you interested in learning about mitochondria in the brain? Want to see the cool tools that neuroscientists use? Hungry for free pizza?
Come to Late Night Science on Thursday, May 14th at 7PM, at Columbia Medical Center’s William Black Building (650 W 168th st.)! This month, Daphne Oettinger from the Ai Yamamoto lab will be hosting an event on mitochondria in the brain. Join us to learn more. Thursday night will consist of a brief talk and Q&A session, followed by a tour of Daphne's lab space. All 18+ are welcome to attend: the only prerequisite is an interest in learning about science!
Late Night Science is organized by Columbia University Neuroscience Outreach which provides monthly evening events to the public from researchers at Columbia University. If you are interested in hearing more from us, please sign up for our email list here, and for more events, please check out the Zuckerman Institute’s website.
