Lancaster Cemetery Beautification & Spring Cleanup

Join Let's Go 1-2-3, Lancaster Cemetery and Lancaster Northeast Neighbors for a beautification and clean-up event at the Lancaster Cemetery. Spring is a great time to plant and help our community beautify and care for this exceptional, 20+ acre green space! The Lancaster Cemetery is located at the corner of East Lemon Street and North Lime Street. Parking is available on the cemetery grounds.

Please sign up to help us clean-up the cemetery and care for our pollinator friendly plots and young plantings.

Volunteers are needed to:

• care for native, pollinator friendly cemetery plots
• light pruning to trees/shrubs and cut back herbaceous vegetation
• remove invasive species
• weeding and mulching of existing trees and shrubs
• trash, litter and stick pickup

What to bring:

• water bottle
• shovel
• gloves (extras provided)
• weeding tool
• hand pruners (for minor pruning and cutting back vegetation)
• a smile (required)

Please note: Extra shovels, gloves, PPE supplies, and a few wheelbarrows will be onsite. Volunteers are encouraged to dress for weather and wear protective shoes.
