South Central PA Real Producers' Power Packs Project Service Event!

What if you could change a child’s weekend in just a few hours?

On May 5, we’re coming together as a community of agents and partners to serve alongside Power Packs Project in Lancaster—and you’re invited to be part of it.

The Reality:
Nearly 20,000 children in Lancaster County face food insecurity. That means when school ends on Friday, so does reliable access to meals.

The Mission:
Power Packs Project is on a mission to change that—providing families with nutritious, affordable meal kits and the tools to stretch their food dollars, all while supporting kids where they need it most.

How You’ll Help:
We’ll be working inside their warehouse, packing Power Packs that go directly to local families. Each box you help pack includes:
✔️ A low-cost, easy-to-make recipe
✔️ All ingredients needed for the meal
✔️ A protein source (like chicken, tuna, or legumes)
✔️ Fresh produce
✔️ Milk
✔️ Additional essentials like peanut butter, cereal, and healthy snacks

This isn’t just volunteering—it’s tangible impact you can see and feel.

Why It Matters:
Because no child should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from.
Because small actions, done together, create big change.
Because this is what community looks like.
