Celebrate the longest day of the year with a beginner friendly yoga class overlooking Lake Rowena at beautiful Leu Gardens. The Summer Solstice marks a time of light, growth and renewal, a beautiful moment to pause, breath and reconnect with yourself and nature. The practice will focus on opening the heart, grounding the body and welcoming the season ahead with intention and flexibility. You will leave relaxed and renewed.

All are welcome from beginners to those with a practice for years. Each participant will receive a small heart to remind them of their intention for the season. Please bring water and a yoga mat.

Registration includes admission to the beautiful Gardens before or after class.

Space is limited

Joyce Bowers is a Registered Yoga Alliance teacher who has been studying and practicing yoga since 2007. After turning to yoga to heal severe back pain and stress caused by years of long hours at a desk, she experienced firsthand how transformative a consistent practice can be. Joyce now shares gentle, accessible yoga that helps students reduce stress, improve mobility, increase mindfulness and feel better in their bodies no matter their age or experience level.

Participants must withdraw from classes at least 5 days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.

Only those registered for the class will be permitted to participate. Childcare services are not provided.
