LAIRS | Learn & Play Special Event at Twilight Café Midtown Toronto

Changeling Event Type: General Board Games, family-friendly.

is a newly published Canadian game, designed by Christopher Westmaas and published by KTBG. It's a game with simple rules, but fun strategy. In this two-player game, players build dungeons stocked with monsters, traps, and treasures, and hide them behind a screen for the other player to explore. Think battleship, but a whole new way to play, and where the first to escape their opponent's dungeon with the best treasure wins!

What to Expect: Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the world of board games, this event offers something for everyone. Discover a new game, challenge your friends, and make new connections with fellow board game lovers along the way. Come as a group or solo, and our friendly team of game instructors can help pair you with a community table, assist with introductions, and offer support by providing a teaching of the rules. Additionally, this special event will include,

• Play to win copies of Lairs
• Available for purchase, Lairs, Lairs Adventure's Pack, and Lairs Deeper Dungeons.
• The designer Christopher Westmaas, will be joining us to sign copies and share in a Q&A.

After just two events within a 30-day period, our members save, with the potential of over $80 per month! This event is sponsored and is FREE for all to attend. Please make sure to book your ticket to guarantee a seat. And if registering in advance as a paid subscriber or passholder, proof of membership will be required at the door.

Waitlist & Walkups: Pre-researved seats will be held for attendees for the first 15 minutes of the event before being given to waitlisted attendees and walkups.

Food & Drink: The Twilight Café Midtown has a full menu, including a variety of delicious specialty drinks. To support our venue host, there will be an 18% auto gratuity for any menu purchases. Purchasing is not required to participate, but supporting local businesses and our hosts is highly encouraged so we can keep going back for more game nights. As able, we recommend a $25 minimum spend, which can easily be made with one drink and one food item.

Info: The venue is open until 1AM for those who want to stay, continue to mingle, and play games from the Twilight Café's game collection. The Twilight seating fee of $3 per hour will start at 1:30 PM.
