The Modern Agora - Your Space to Connect and Make a Difference

The Modern Agora aims to establish modern versions of the ancient Greek agoras - gathering places that were central to the development of democracy, public discourse and social impact, while serving as the foundation for community life.

Join our events to discuss what really matters, start local initiatives and build a stronger community with your neighbours. In an era of isolation and disconnection, where many of us feel disempowered in our ability to make a difference in the world, we provide a space to reconnect and focus on how to positively impact our immediate environment.

Details:

• We will meet for 2 hours and spend the first half discussing our topic and the second to develop concrete solutions - time to socialize is included of course
• Topics can range from personal and social issues to politics, philosophy and spirituality - you will be able to choose one of 4-5 issues to work on
• Please feel free to suggest own ideas/topics in the sign up form, most issues covered come from you
• We will have some light breakfast (crossaints, fruits etc.) and coffee for you
