Looking to meet new people and build meaningful friendships?

Join us for a playful, low-pressure take on speed dating designed entirely for platonic connection. Think slumber party energy without the sleepover.

Throughout the evening, you’ll rotate through short, guided interactions and take part in making crafts and nostalgic games like MASH to spark conversation and connection.

At the end of the event, you’ll anonymously select the people you connected with. If there’s a match, you’ll be invited to reconnect at a future On Task Studio Toronto event with a 2-for-1 pass, or continue building your friendship on your own.

What to expect:

• Guided “speed friending” rounds
• Classic slumber party games

If you don’t make a meaningful connection, you’ll be invited back to a future Speed Friending event at no cost.

This special edition of Speed Friending is designed to foster meaningful, cross-generational connection. Whether you’re just finding your footing, deeply rooted in your path, or carrying a lifetime of experience, there is something powerful in coming together across stages of life.

For this event, guests are invited to self-select into one of three identity-based groups:

• Emerging — those in earlier stages of adulthood, exploring, building, and becoming
• Established — those who feel grounded in their path, with lived experience to share
• Elder — those who carry wisdom, perspective, and a desire to connect across generations

(These are gentle guidelines, not strict age categories; choose the group that resonates most with you.)

Throughout the evening, you’ll rotate through all three rooms, creating intentional opportunities to connect within and across generations. Expect guided “speed friending” rounds, thoughtful prompts, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere designed to make everyone feel at ease.
