That’s what Child Find is all about.The School District of La Crosse is hosting a FREE Child Find screening event for families with children ages 2.5–5 who are not yet in school. It’s a relaxed, play-based way to check in on your child’s development and connect with local resources that support growing learners.
What’s happening?
Early childhood professionals will spend time with your child through fun, simple play activities. You’ll also complete a short paper or digital screener. Hearing and vision checks are included.
Why do we do this?
Because early support matters. These screenings help families understand your child’s strengths, celebrate progress, and spot any areas where extra support could help. No pressure. No labels. Just information and connection.
