Ages 12+ - For anyone interested in learning the basic carving skills for a lifetime of creative endeavorsCurious about relief wood carving? This relaxed, hands- on class is for you! You'll get an 8"x10" basswood slab and access to all the tools needed to learn the basics of relief carving. With step-by-step guidance from the instructor, we will practice the various cutting profiles on the back of the board and then carve your work of art on the front. Bring a sketch to carve or select a design from options availible in class. Kevin's approachable style and years of experience will make it easy to learn and fun!
