We have entered eclipse season. On August 15, we meet in the space between two eclipses: just days after the Solar Eclipse in Leo and before the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces.
A space between light and shadow. Between what has already been revealed and what is still waiting beneath the surface. We are often so afraid of our own darkness that we deny, suppress, or project it, only to find ourselves confronted with it through other people, relationships, and situations.
But shadow is not the opposite of light. It is what remains unconscious within us.
We all carry both parts we proudly show to the world and the parts we have learned to hide. Real transformation does not come from identifying only with the light. It begins when we are willing to meet what we have rejected without allowing it to control us. This eclipse season may illuminate fears, patterns, or truths that can no longer remain unseen. Not to punish us. Not to frighten us. But to reveal where we still abandon ourselves, perform for approval, or hold on to an identity that is no longer true. We cannot consciously choose the light by denying the darkness.
We choose it by meeting our shadow, taking responsibility for it, and transforming the energy held within it.
