Season's Greetings,

In British Columbia, 1 in 3 children lives in a food-insecure household, and many rely on school meal programs — meaning weekends and holidays often leave them without proper food, or without any at all.

For many families facing financial strain, holiday gifts are simply not possible. Your donation of food, toys, or books helps ensure that local children feel cared for, included, and supported during a season that can otherwise be incredibly difficult.

Bring any of the following to our below event:

• A new unwrapped toy
• A children’s book
• Non-perishable food items

We appreciate you dropping by with your food or toys and in appreciation, enjoy complimentary holiday treats and receive a free holiday photo of you, your family, or even your dog!

You can expect to meet fellow charitable neighbours and business leaders.

Everything collected will be donated directly to families in our community who need support this season.

FEATURED CHARITIES

All toys will go to Kinbrace Refugee Housing and Support. The Kinbrace community welcomes refugee claimants with housing, education and support.

All food will go to Food Stash, which was founded in 2016 by David Schein, a local Vancouver-based teacher who became inspired to reduce food waste.
