KIDS WORM WORKSHOP - ROCKINGHAMTime: 3:30pm to 4:30pm
Date: Tuesday 12th November 2024
Location: Rockingham Library
Facilitated by The Worm Shed, this workshop will include:
- Presentation covering the ‘ins & outs’ of worms and their role in waste management.
- Kids can get their hands into and see worms up close with magnifiers.
- Each child can make a mini worm farm to take home.
Suitable for 5 – 12 years of age. Registration required. One ticket per child, parents attending will only need to make a registration for each child attending.
Make sure to bring a clear plastic bottle for each child to take home their own mini worm farm. 1L, 1.25L or 2L water bottles are suitable, must be rinsed and top of bottle cut off prior to the workshop.
This workshop is free to attend and presented as part of City of Rockingham's National Recycling Week 2024 events.
