Get creative with clay at Kids N Clay Camp, a hands-on summer experience designed for students ages 10–13. This unique camp offers an artistic alternative to traditional summer camps, giving young artists the opportunity to explore pottery, sculpture, and ceramic design in a fun and supportive studio environment.
Campers will learn pinch, coil, and slab techniques while creating a variety of pottery and sculpture projects throughout the week. Guided by demonstrations and supported by student instructors, participants will develop artistic skills while bringing their ideas to life through clay.
Camp Schedule
• Full Day: 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
• Morning Session: 8–11:30 a.m.
• Lunch: 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
• Afternoon Session: 12:30–4 p.m.
Projects and activities include:
• Pinch pot animals and animal environments
• Picasso-inspired slab vases
• Betty Woodman-inspired planters
• Functional pottery including bowls, cups, and plates
• Collaborative large-scale clay sculpture
• Glazing and finishing techniques
