Kia Ora Kuaka | Hello Godwits

Help us welcome back the Kuaka (Bar-tailed Godwit) from their annual Asian migration to Ambury Regional Park | Te Ara i Tautahi.
About this Event

This event will include a talk from a New Zealand birding expert, a small morning tea, and a guided walk and bird observation (approximately 1km each way), all in collaboration with Birds New Zealand.

Who: Suitable for adults and older children with a keen interest in the environment and ornithology.

When: Sunday, 27th September - 10.00am - 1.00pm.

Where: Ambury Regional Park | Te Ara i Tautahi, 43 Ambury Road, Māngere Bridge, Auckland. Meet at the barn (near the main carpark).

What to bring: Appropriate shoes for walking, a water bottle, binoculars, sun protection and raincoats.
