Horses 101 is a four-week course for first-time horse owners, potential adopters or anyone who would like to gain basic equine care and handling knowledge. The program kicks off Saturday, November 2nd at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Willow Hope Farms as part of its Equine C.A.R.E. Program. Course topics include safety around horses, equine behavior, grooming, nutrition, preventative care, maintenance and more!
The Horses 101 course is $200 per person. Potential first-time adopters who are interested in adoption through KHS and complete this course may have their $200 registration applied towards their adoption fees.
