In recognition of National Caregivers Month, join JFCS this November for a special series of workshops designed to support, uplift, and empower caregivers.Session 1 provides attendees the basics of family caregiving, including tips for managing multiple roles, resources that can help in your role and long-term care planning.
FREE!!!! RSVP required by calling 322-1905. Light meal will be served.
Facilitated by Mauri Malka, LCSW.
Mauri is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and serves as the JFCS Senior Director of Programs. Mauri has over forty years of social service experience, working with people of diverse ages and cultural backgrounds. Mauri was instrumental in developing a one-stop senior program at JFCS that offers a full menu of services to seniors and their families, including transportation and non-medical homecare. She has spent much of her career consulting with family caregivers and facilitating caregiver support groups.
All sessions FREE OF CHARGE through funding from state and/or federal funding provided by the Kentucky Department for Aging and Independent Living.
