We are excited to welcome Guitarist and composer, KHABU DOUG YOUNG, to Bhakti Shakti Kirtan. We are also excited to welcome international vocalist ELENA CAMERIN YOUNG! (yes, they are married!) They bring a deep and rich musical background and skill set that will mesh well with The Bhakti Shakti Band.
Khabu currently resides in Boulder CO after 20 years in New York City as an active musician and teaching artist . He has toured all over the world. Khabu teaches guitar, ukulele, and improvisation for all instruments. He has held numerous workshops and clinics throughout Europe and North America
Elena also lives in Boulder, Colorado, where she performs with many musicians and artists of the greater Denver area, teaches voice at the Naropa University, founded the "Nalanda Ensemble", started the monthly series for free improvisers "OH SNAP!" and served for 6 years on the board of Creative Music Works.
Elena has been teaching voice, music ensemble and vocal ensemble since 1996 in Italy and the U.S.A.

They will sit in with Ken Bernstein on Guitar/Vocals, Gayan Gregory Long on Percussion/Vocals, Dexter Payne on Woodwinds and Bill McCrossen on Bass.
Come sing Kirtan with us Sunday Night Live! We've been gathering every Sunday for over 25 years! Come sing kirtan with us Sunday Night Live! Every week we gather to sing the Sanskrit names of divine awareness, dance our hearts open, and sing with a community that communes with the love that is at the core of our being. You are the choir, so join us and we will inspire each other into the flow state of loving awareness. We chant sacred Sanskrit mantras for the benefit of all beings. Come connect with our sweet community, bring a snack to be transformed into prasad, and help us put out some good vibes!
Doors open at 6:45. Come early to get a good seat or dancing space!
