Keys to Hope Coffee and Connections (Islamorada)

Please join us for an intimate, in-person gathering for those who have experienced the pain of the loss of a pregnancy, infant, or young child. This event is designed to provide comfort, support, and valuable resources to bereaved families.

We will be sharing strategies for processing grief as we face the social and emotional expectations that come with Mother’s Day and Mother’s Day celebrations and gatherings. We will also address thoughts and feelings regarding Bereaved Mother’s Day, a special day set aside the Sunday before traditional Mother’s Day specifically for mothers who have experienced loss. We will cover moving forward with grief, not moving on from it. This gathering is fluid and balances sharing information other loss moms have found helpful, while still holding space and having no set expectations for participants. We move at everyone’s comfort level.

All loss moms, no matter what the age of the child, and those who support them are welcome. This is usually a small and intimate group. This intimate gathering will provide a safe space to share your story or simply be present. We will have light refreshments and resource materials available.
