Fin, Fur & Feather Speaker Series - the Croc Docs

Join Florida Bay Forever for the next installment of the Fin, Fur, & Feather Speaker Series featuring Aaron Chimelis and Eric Suarez from the UF/IFAS Croc Doc lab. Aaron and Eric will dive into the world of crocodilians, exploring their role as key indicator species in Everglades restoration and discussing invasive reptiles that have made their way into South Florida and the Florida Keys.

The Croc Docs, a team of scientists from the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS), conduct long-term research on crocodilians, invasive species, and endangered wildlife. Their work supports wildlife management, addresses climate change impacts, and contributes to Everglades restoration efforts in South Florida and the Caribbean.
