This year, we're taking over an entire city block! With more vendors, more tacos, more margaritas, and more entertainment than ever before, the Kansas City Taco Festival is back for one MASSIVE event at Kansas City Live! on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

KIDS & Under 21 ADMISSION
- Kids 10 & under are FREE & do not require a ticket- Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
RESTAURANTS & FOOD TRUCKS: A full list of participating vendors & entertainment is coming soon!
TICKET VOUCHER SYSTEM & BEVERAGES: All food-related items will work on a voucher system with stations located throughout the festival grounds. Purchase your taco vouchers ($5 a voucher sold in sheets of 4 for $20) at any of the stations and then simply exchange them for Tacos, Elotes, Nacho’s, and all food-related menu items! All vendors will offer at least two items on their menu for one voucher ($5). All alcohol & beverages will work on a cash & credit system. There will be ATM’s on site but highly encourage cash sales to expedite the overall process.
KIDS FUN ZONE: Enjoy FREE fun for the whole family! There will be face painters, bounce houses, piñata smashing contests, carnival games & more. Kids 10 and under are FREE!
TACO & HOT CHILI PEPPER EATING CONTEST: Prizes & bragging rights awarded for 1st – 3rd place! Sign-ups will take place with the DJ at the main stage.

PARKING: The District and the City have multiple parking garages and surface lots within and surrounding the District. Parking is available all day, every day when you dine or shop in the District, in the KC Live! parking garage.
KANSAS CITY LIVE CODE OF CONDUCT: Kansas City Live prohibits the following:- Outside food or beverage. They have plenty for you to enjoy!- Weapons/Guns or other items that present a risk of harm to a person or property.- Pets. Humans and service animals only.- Illegal, disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior.- Smoking and vaping indoors. Please use designated outdoor smoking areas.- Oversized bags or purses larger than 16x12.” KC Live! reserves the right to inspect all items entering KC Live!- Photography or video recordings for commercial use without prior approval by management.- Solicitation or loitering. Failure to comply with the Guest Code of Conduct or other reasonable requests from management or security may result in the loss of privilege to visit our venue.
REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY: All Ticket Sales for The Kansas City Taco Festival are FINAL - refunds will not be issued. All tickets are delivered via tracked delivery email. This is a "Rain / Snow / Heat or Shine" indoor/outdoor event. In the event of an act of God and the event must be postponed, all ticket purchases will be valid and honored on the makeup date. Ticket prices are subject to change and increase at any time.
