2026 Garment District Grooves Concert Series

Every third Wednesday from May through October for Garment District Grooves, a lively lunchtime music series at Garment District Place.
About this Event

On behalf of the Downtown Community Improvement District (DCID), KC Parks, Crossroads Preparatory Academy, and the Downtown Neighborhood Association, we invite you to join us on the third Wednesday of each month, from May to October, from 11:30 am to 1 pm for a lunchtime concert series.

Bring your lunch or purchase food from the on-site food truck and enjoy live music at Garment District Place Park, one of downtown's best parks.

The current line-up for musicians and food trucks includes:

• May 20 - FOOD TRUCK: Ravioli’s Pasta 2 Go BAND: Trumpet player, composer and arranger, Stanton Kessler
• June 17 - FOOD TRUCK: 451 Pizza BAND: R&B/jazz vocalist and performer Gayle Price SPONSOR: The June concert is sponsored by Exact Architects
• July 15 - FOOD TRUCK: Mai’s Noodle Express BAND: Pioneer of smooth jazz, Max Groove
• August 19 - FOOD TRUCK: Gourmet Mac & Cheese with Mac Daddy BAND: Multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and poet, Jasmine “Jass” Couch
• September 16 - FOOD TRUCK: Street tacos from Sugar Skull Grill BAND: KC-based jazz saxophonist, Max Levy
• October 21 - FOOD TRUCK: TBD BAND: Blues singer and guitar player, Billy Ebling
