Every fall, monarch butterflies pass through the Kansas City region on one of nature's most remarkable migrations, stopping to feed on native flowers before continuing their journey to central Mexico.
Monarch Fest celebrates that incredible journey and the healthy soil, native plants, pollinators, and local community that help make it possible year after year. Spend an afternoon exploring Urbavore Farm, meeting local makers and conservation organizations, enjoying delicious local food and drinks, U-pick flowers, farm tours, and hands-on activities for all ages.
Whether you're passionate about nature or simply looking for a memorable fall day on the farm, Monarch Fest is a chance to slow down, connect with your community, and celebrate the beauty of the season.
