Planet Rock Drill Team Competition

Planet Rock Competition is a high-energy celebration of drill teams, drumlines, majorettes, youth, talent, and community, presented as part of the Pythons Drill Team’s historic 40th Anniversary Celebration. On Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Hy-Vee Arena in Kansas City, Missouri, teams will come together from across the region to compete, showcase their creativity and precision, and celebrate the rich tradition of drill team culture. Exciting performances, and generations of Pythons alumni, families, supporters, and community members coming together, Planet Rock is more than a competition—it is a celebration of 40 years of dedication, discipline, mentorship, and positive opportunities for youth.
