We are having our second Canadian Red Dress Collective featuring Indigenous designers, artists and other ally artists
Cost is $20 per person with all funds going to support the Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
ACTIVITY - IndigiTRAILS - this is an interactive, outdoor journey created by Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth that allows you to digitally view art work and storytelling from Indigenous youth (Download the IndigTRAILS app)
There are two Indigenous-led experiences you can explore each can take 30-60 minutes.
1) Remembering Our Children - featuring 7 digital art installations honoring residential school survivors, shares historical timelines, and highlights visions for the future.
2) Path 2 Spirit - An educational and interactive augmented reality experience. As you walk the park you will interact with virtual characters, answer quizzes, and learn about Two-Spirted identities and Indigenous teachings.
We will also be welcoming knowledge keeper, smudger, and drummer Charles GoForth for this event so please join us for his knowledge sharing, the time for this will be announced in the coming days
