Join us at Attollo HQ for a Professional Development Series session with Jose R. Lopez, CEO of the Spanish American Civic Association (SACA).
Jose's connection to SACA and to Lancaster runs deep. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Lancaster city, his own family was welcomed and supported by SACA when they relocated here in the mid-1970s. Decades later, he is the one leading the organization that helped shape his life. A 1989 graduate of West Chester University, Jose built a career in banking, finance, and commercial real estate before returning to SACA in 2020 as president. In 2023, he stepped into the CEO role, succeeding founder Carlos Graupera who led the organization for 50 years.
Under Jose's leadership, SACA continues to grow as a fully inclusive organization serving Lancaster's diverse community through workforce development, affordable housing, behavioral health, and public broadcasting. His vision is clear: make sure everybody gets a fair shake.
In this session, Jose will share what it means to lead an institution rooted in your own community, how careers built on service create lasting impact, and why investing in people is always the most important
