Join us for the 8th annual Johnson City Zine Fest on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 324 E Main Street in downtown Johnson City from 11am to 4pm. This year’s fest will feature over 40 zinesters/vendors displaying and selling their zines and artwork. This event is free to attend.
…But wait, what is a zine? A zine, pronounced ZEEN (as in the last part of the word magazine), is a small self published booklet or pamphlet, made in multiple. Zines can be on any and all topics– it’s up to the artist, writer, or creator to decide. Below are a few sources that expand on this definition and provide some context and history:

KIDS: This event is all ages. However, zinesters make zines about all kinds of things, so it is up to viewer discretion to determine what is or isn’t appropriate for your child.
