Celebrate the new year with meaningful jewelry in this one-day workshop. Students will learn the basics of working with sterling silver using traditional jewelry tools and techniques to make their very own stamped resolution ring. Come with an intention in mind, or be guided through a short reflection of the past year in order to look forward with mindfulness and new manifestations.
This workshop is guided by Hali MacLaren of HKM Jewelry. Hali MacLaren has been a collector ever since she was a young girl. Natural specimens cover every inch of space in her studio and her jewelry is inspired by the sea. In 2014 she received a BFA in Jewelry and Metals from the University of the Arts and started her business HKM Jewelry in 2015 which supports ocean conservation and education. Since 2016 she has taught beginner jewelry classes locally and in 2022 started taking her workshops on the road. Hali is a recognized Master Artisan with the Haverford Guild of Craftsmen and shows her work throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
