errabatt Gully Farm TourGeoff Foster has been supplying fresh produce to consumers in the Canberra-Bungendore region since 1995. Based in Wamboin, this farm is a great example of cool climate vegetable growing in the region.
Geoff currently has a number of customers who collect a weekly order from the farm, and sells produce through the Southern Harvest Produce Box scheme and at the weekly Bungendore Farmers Market.
Cool climate adapted crops are grown year-round in a large greenhouse as well as in outdoor beds. Irrigation water is sourced from a licenced bore and from an extensive water-harvesting system off greenhouse and shed roofs. Geoff also has a small apple and pear orchard as well as goats for W**d control.
