Jared Power Exhibition: I WANT TO FEEL BIG

Friday, July 10th from 6-9pm, join us at OSC-Press for Jared Power's latest exhibition, I WANT TO FEEL BIG. Also known as EATBADART, Jared in an OKC artist making art to connect with others and explore parts of the human experience such as jumping, laughing, screaming, sobbing, hugging, etc. He uses a variety of media including painting, pen & ink, printmaking, sculpture and creates his own line of personalized clothing by painting directly onto the garments. Check out his latest works, enjoy some refreshments, and get a live-printed t-shirt during Norman's 2nd Friday Artwalk!

Artist/Curatorial Statement:
I make art to feel connected to the fabric of history, and the wide web of current working artists. To stop making work is to fall into a void only remedied by making more. The artworks that feel best to make are a visitation with physical responses to emotion; Stooping, Crawling, Jumping, Hugging, Screaming, Sobbing, Laughing, Feeling!!
Artist Bio:
Jared Power is a 26 year old self taught artist working and living in OKC. He is the artist behind EATBADART. He has shown art at DNA Galleries, Dayjob Gallery, Gutterbloom Studios, Gray Owl Coffee, Oscillator Press, Bookish, and Paseo Arts Association.
