2nd Friday Art Walk: Every Cell Lit Up Poetry Open Mic

We're hosting a poetry open mic during 2nd Friday Art Walk in July, held in celebration of Every Cell, Lit Up; the collaborative poetry card set from Norman poet Crag Hill and visual artist spontaneous bob, with gracious support from Jennifer Burwell.
The evening takes place within Sculpted Worlds, our current group exhibition featuring Nick Lillard, Chris McDaniel, Jennifer Burwell, Ken Hall, and Claire Holloway. Participating poets will read from the People's Throne, one of the exhibition's installation pieces, making the open mic a part of the show itself.
Every Cell, Lit Up is an interactive set of 52 cards pairing Hill's five-line poems with visual art by spontaneous bob. The card format invites readers to rearrange and explore the work in their own order.
Sign-ups begin at 7 PM. Reading will begin at 7:30 to 8:30PM. All are welcome to read or simply listen.
