About this Event
With Fiorenza Rossini, career coach for working mums of young children (at In Now Coaching) for The MOB Walthamstow.
Overview:
Becoming a parent changes many things: your time, your energy, your sleep, your priorities.
Often, your relationship with work and ambition too.
This is not a workshop about bouncing back or accelerating harder. It is a space to pause.
(and if you wish to, a safe space to name your dream job!)
This is a workshop for mums who would like to return to work & are navigating the question that sits just beneath the surface: work still matters to me… but what does that look like now?
Together, we'll explore how identity and confidence often shift after children. Not as a flaw or failure, but as part of a real transition. I will share some of my own story, and invite you to reflect on yours.
You will leave not with a five year plan, but with something more useful for this season of life we're in: clarity, language, and one realistic next step.
What you’ll explore
The quiet identity shifts that can happen after becoming a parent
How confidence changes, and what that might actually be teaching you
What you want more of, and less of, from work right now
How to think about ambition in seasons rather than straight lines
One small, grounded action you can take in the next few weeks
There will be space to write, reflect, and think. Paper and pens provided.
We will end this career workshop with a brief fireside chat with Saskia Albers - a mum & business owner, who will share how she navigated her professional transition after motherhood. Saskia makes photographs and films that feel just like you. She works with families and business and charities all over the UK while being based in SE London. No stiff poses, no pretending, just honest images full of personality that show beauty in real life.
And of course, Fiorenza will open the floor to any questions you might have!
This session is for you if:
You love your child and still care about your career
You feel your ambition has shifted but you’re not sure how
You are questioning what success means in this chapter
You want space to think without being told to “lean in” or “scale up”
You do not need to have answers.
Bring your lived experience.
Bring your curiosity.
We will take it from there.
About Fiorenza Rossini
Fiorenza is a Career Transitions Coach and the founder of In Now Coaching.
A mum of two, she has navigated her own career identity shift, stepping away from a corporate role in investment banking to build work that feels aligned with her values and season of life.
She now specialises in supporting parents as they grow, pivot, and redefine success after children. Her work focuses on anchoring confidence, making thoughtful career decisions, and shaping ambition in a way that feels sustainable rather than stretched.
Alongside her coaching practice, she is the host of The Belonging Project Podcast, where she explores identity, career and belonging in working parenthood.
Based in London, Fiorenza works with both individuals and organisations to redefine what leadership looks like after children, ensuring that growth feels realistic, intentional, and grounded.
