Izabela Salimpour is a third-generation belly dancer, performer, choreographer, and educator dedicated to preserving and uplifting the rich traditions of belly dance while encouraging artistic individuality. Drawing from the renowned Salimpour School, she blends strong technical foundations with creative exploration, helping dancers develop both confidence and authenticity in their movement.
In this workshop, Izabela will guide participants through a dynamic warm-up, technique drills, and choreography while exploring the cultural and historical roots of belly dance. Students will also learn how to cultivate their own unique artistic voice, using technique not as a limitation, but as a foundation for personal expression. Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding of the dance or refine your performance quality, this workshop offers a thoughtful balance of education, artistry, and movement.
