Led by young producers ZJ Park (12) and Nick Caton (11), with a little help from their parents, #IWillBeYourVoice: Stories of Homelessness and Hope is a youth-led theatrical production that shines a light on one of the most urgent, and often invisible, challenges facing children in our communities.
More than 50,000 Pennsylvania children are currently experiencing homelessness. That's more children than the entire populations of Harrisburg, Lancaster, or York.
Inspired by the real experiences of young people from Central Pennsylvania, this original production shares stories of resilience, heartbreak, courage, and hope. Names and identifying details have been changed, but every story is rooted in truth.
Through a series of powerful monologues and scenes, audiences are invited to look beyond statistics and stereotypes and encounter the human beings behind them.
Join us for an unforgettable hour of theatre that amplifies unheard voices, challenges assumptions, and asks what more we can do for the children and families in our communities.
