About the Evening
Followers of the Mansion Concert series know that we generally feature artists who specialize in instrumental guitar or whose songwriting is heavily influenced by the instrument. So, when Mansion Concert's founders Tim and Polly Alexander visited Nashville a few years ago, they experienced the well-known songwriter showcase at the Bluebird Cafe. They noted to themselves that back in Harrisburg they could easily find three local artists who have the songwriting chops and talent to perform in such a show. So it was then that the plans for the very first "Harrisbird Cafe" were hatched (sorry the pun is intended). Kevin, Corinna,, and Lucas typically perform all around Central PA (never together), but this evening is intentionally bringing them together for a special opportunity to feature their artistry and their original songwriting in a format sure to inspire the songwriters of Harrisburg.
Listen up Harrisburg, this may not be Nashville but for one night in June 2026, we will represent the immense talent found in this part of the country. And maybe just maybe we'll start our own tradition of supporting independent songwriters in the fashion of Nashville's Bluebird Cafe. Please read more about our artists and be sure to sign up for this "one of a kind" concert experience.
About the Artists
Kevin Neidig is an award-winning Americana artist from Mechanicsburg, PA, known for his innovative style he calls “Folkgrass for the Critical Thinker.” As a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Kevin blends bluegrass, folk, jazz, and hints of rock into a signature sound influenced by Darrell Scott, Tim O’Brien, Bela Fleck, as well as progressive metal bands. His accolades include 2024 IBMA Flatpicking Champion, 2026 Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest (Children’s song, instrumental and folk acoustic categories) 2025 Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest (Bluegrass/Country) winner, and 2023 Best Americana Artist by the Central Pennsylvania Hall of Fame. Kevin’s guitar work is virtuosic, his vocals emotionally rich, and his songwriting both complex and captivating. He teaches music online, hosts a monthly live online guitar warm-up class called GWUP, and has published Soundslice courses and books. He delivers impeccably crafted, hand-hewn tunes—a perfect turn of word here, transforming melodies there—lush, tuneful journeys not to be missed.
Corinna Joy is a Pennsylvania-born singer-songwriter known for her candid, confessional storytelling and a voice that PA Musician Magazine calls “sweet, soulful, and sometimes powerful.” Raised in Hershey and now rooted in Lancaster, she writes with an emotional honesty shaped by a lifetime at the piano, a few turns on the musical theater stage, and an early love for master songwriters like Billy Joel and Carole King. A five-time nominee at the Central Pennsylvania Music Awards, including nods for Best Songwriter and Best Female Artist, Corinna was awarded Song of the Year at the inaugural CPMAs for her track “Time is Up.” A deeply feeling, self-admitted “Adele” of a songwriter, Corinna’s music plays out the soundtrack to her life—the highs and lows of young love, the sometimes-absurd road to self-discovery, and the beauty and chaos of motherhood and marriage. Her music will resonate with fans of Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, and Brandi Carlile—and with anyone who has loved the wrong person (or two) on the way to loving themselves. www.corinnajoymusic.com
Lucas Gienow is a music producer, songwriter, and audio engineer from Lebanon, PA. An alumnus of Lebanon Valley College (Class of ’16), Lucas completed his Bachelor’s degree in Audio Production by heading to Nashville for an internship at a recording studio, where he discovered his passion for crafting records for himself and others. Following graduation, Lucas co-founded the Lancaster-based alt-rock band Nearly York in 2018 alongside bandmates Brad Hartman, Chris Mundy, and Jonathan Poorman. Drawing influence from artists like Coldplay, The 1975, and The Band Camino, Nearly York has released two full-length albums and several singles, bringing their upbeat, high-energy shows to stages up and down the East Coast. Day-to-day, Lucas works on everything from post-production and detailed vocal and instrumental editing for Nashville-based producers to writing and producing music remotely for artists around the world. He contributes to hundreds of songs each year, including major label projects, with placements spanning WWE SmackDown, a Kansas City Chiefs halftime performance, and the top of the Billboard Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. When writing for himself, Lucas draws heavy inspiration from the likes of John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, and Radiohead. His creative process starts with melody and phonetics, building lyrics around a musical idea once it feels like it has real potential.
