Just as the title of the event suggests this day is just for … Cobs, Native Ponies and Part Breds.
On Saturday 20th June at Wakefield RDA WF4 3JL.
The day will be in many parts to allow you to do as much or as little as you like with (or without) your horse.
With over 30 years of experience training, Jo Wainwright, also a BD List 3 Dressage Judge, Rider and Trainer, is here to help you get the best out of your partnership with your horse, whether for the show ring, pleasure riding, the dressage arena or a bit of it all.
You are encouraged to come along to enjoy the day with like minded riders, owners and friends to have a great day out and learn a thing or two as well.
Future and current breeding stallions also welcome to take part in the day.
This is a pick your own day. Times will be given for individual lessons when all entries are in. Initially please leave the day clear when booking. Pole work will be 10am,mini competition from 1:30pm

▪️30min training, working on your horses way of going on the flat with Jo - choice to warm up outside** £35 for single session. Below prices for multiple sessions.
▪️45min training, working on your horses way of going on the flat with Jo - £40 for single session. Below prices for multiple sessions.
▪️Test riding 30min - warm up outdoors** as you would in a competition, come to the indoor arena set up like a competition, ride the test of your choice. Any short arena test up to ad medium. Be judged as in competition. Discuss test. Train to develop more marks. £38 for single session. Below for multiple sessions.
▪️ Pole work … 1hr group session with Jo including exercises for suppleness, straightness, accuracy and balance. £20 each when booked as a single session. Below prices for multiple sessions
▪️ Mini Unaff dressage competition- warm up outside, test indoors, judged by BD judge. One class of PYO tests intro-novice enter up to two tests from Intro 1/2 Prelim 1/2 Novice 1 Novice 2. Elem and above on request and not championship/ points league eligible
With all entries eligible for CE Dressage Championship 2026 and Points League.
Entries close for mini competition Wednesday before . Times from 7pm Thursday before, late entries if space £2 extra per test. Super Rosettes
If riding two tests different tests to be used or second test Hc. All competition tests will be between 1pm/ 1:30pm and 6pm results and sheets given at end. BD tack inc gloves compulsory. Casual safe dress. One entry £12 to entries £20 when booked as single session. Below for multiple sessions.

Horses will be given suitable breaks between multiple sessions. For off the horse sessions it’s possible you will have time to collect or return your horse between sessions.

All payments are due at time of booking and non refundable / transferable regardless of reason or when cancellation occurs.

All horses must have public liability insurance, vaccinated and be of good health. By attending in any capacity you are deemed to understand and agree to this, attending at your own risk.
*if up to 6 horses are booked on all 6 will be in together. You may also be in alone or with lesser number.
** if the weather dictates that the outdoor arena prevents use for flooding or freezing warm up will be indoor during the previous lesson.
