CE Dressage Championship Competition Schedule Saturday 14th November

This is a Championship competition with open classes for unqualified combinations and qualified combinations wishing to have a warm up test at their championship level.
• Full Plus and Full registered combinations can ride in the Championship test class. Classes 2,4 & 6.
• Full Plus and Part registered combinations can be eligible for the Points League. All classes.
• Part registered combinations are only eligible for class 1,3 & 5.
Unregistered combinations can only compete in class 1, 3 & 5.

Registered and Unregistered combinations eligible
Rosettes in Senior & Junior section 1st-4th
For Full Plus / Part registered combinations points gained in this class will be included to Points League.

One BD list Judge at C

Class 2 - INTRODUCTORY 2 (2024) CHAMPIONSHIP
Championship class
Only Full Plus and Full registered combinations eligible
Championship Rosettes Senior & Junior section 1st-4th
Special Award to highest % scored from Everyone, Cob, Thoroughbred Days. Class 1 does not count to special award
Full Plus and Part registered combinations will gain points in this test to final Points League.

Two BD List Judges at C & at M

Class 3 - PRELIMINARY 1 (2024)

SPECIAL AWARD
Highest placed Full Plus/ Full registered combination that qualified at Everyone, Cob, Thoroughbred day. Seniors and Junior results combined.
Shining Star goes to the rider who has made the most progress through the year. One award.
Entries
Close - Wednesday 11th November 10pm
Late entries, if space, up to 6pm Thursday 12th November at £2.50 per test extra.
Full payment required on booking. No “pencilled in” entries taken.
Non refundable on cancellation/ withdrawal at any time.

Times
available - Thursday 12th November not before 7pm
No changes can be made once times have been published

Individual times will not be sent to riders.
Results
Individual scores will be available on the score board as they come in
Final placings will be within 30min of the class ending
Competition results will be posted on Facebook as the classes complete.
Prizes
Class 1, 3 and 5 will award rosettes 1st - 4th in Senior and Junior sections.
Class 2, 4 and 6 will award Championship rosettes 1st - 4th in Senior and Junior sections.
Points League will award rosettes 1st - 4th in Senior and Junior sections at each level.
Special Awards is one rosette to Everyone, Cob and Thoroughbred as one section.
Shining Star Award is one rosette to one rider.
Presentation
Class 1, 3 and 5 will have rosettes and score sheets available at the end of the class.
Class 2, 4 and 6 will have a presentation. Presentation times will be for each level at the end of class details will be available on Friday 13th November on CE Dressage Facebook page.
Points League will be presented at the end of each level.
Judges
Class 1, 3 & 5 have one judge positioned at C
Class 2, 4 & 6 have two judges, positioned on the short side, at a table, at C and M
All judges have been selected from the current list of active judges on the British Dressage Judges Panel.
Judges invited to attend on schedule publishing are two BD List 3 and one BD List 5 judges.
Arena Walk
One arena walk will be before the competition begins.
Further arena walks could be available if timetable allows.
Arena walk times will be confirmed on Friday 13th November on CE Dressage Facebook page.
Competitor dress
Class 1, 3 & 5 is casual safe dress.
Class 2, 4 & 6 is competition dress.
Gloves are compulsory in all classes. Failure to wear will result in 2 mark deduction.
Horse dress
Only permitted tack as BD Handbook allowed.
Errors of course / Penalty marks
Will be given as BD Handbook
Rules
This competition is run, with the exception of specific CE Dressage rule requirements, are strictly rules as stated in the current British Dressage Handbook in circulation.
Whips are allowed in all classes
Readers are allowed in all classes
Judges decision is final
Any complaints must be brought to organisers attention within 30min of the class ending with a payment of £30 returned should then complaint be valid
Health and Welfare
All horses must come from a disease free environment
Must not be showing any sign of illness or infection
Are required to be fully vaccinated for Equine Flu
Must carry Public Liability Insurance
Welfare is of paramount importance. Any welfare concerns must be reported.
If any health or welfare issues are raised and present you will be asked to leave.
