You may be getting ready to put your veggie garden to bed for the winter at this time of year, but don't forget to plant garlic first! Fall is the perfect time to get garlic in the ground but there are a few things to know before you start growing this delightful crop. Join Shelley from Portland Nursery for an informative class on all things garlic. Topics will include types of garlic to choose from, preparing and planting your beds, as well as care and harvesting information.

***All classes at Stark this fall will be held in our veggie hoophouse, which is located in the yard of the nursery, near the trees and shrubs. It is a large greenhouse that functions as a covered outdoor area. If the weather is warm, we will have water available, but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
