About this Event

This is a hands-on class where we will be learning how to work with stinging nettles to create cordage (the first step in creating cloth). We will discuss how and when to harvest nettles for fiber, how to process the stalks, and work them into cordage. If there is time, students may start weaving their cordage onto a loom.

Street parking only, plan to arrive a little early to find a spot.
