Fall Math Circles at The Number Garden

Math Circles are Saturday gatherings for children who enjoy puzzles, patterns, strategy, surprising questions, and the pleasure of figuring something out together.
The Fall 2026 season runs September 5 through November 21 at The Number Garden in Portland's Hollywood District. Children explore rich problems through conversation, conjecture, hands-on play, and mathematical discovery—not worksheets, speed tests, or memorized tricks.
Saturday groups:
• Ages 3–4 + parent: alternating Saturdays, 9:00–9:30am
• Ages 5–6 + parent: alternating Saturdays, 9:00–9:30am
• Ages 7–8: Saturdays, 9:45–10:30am
• Ages 9–10: Saturdays, 10:45–11:45am
• Ages 11–13: Saturdays, 12:00–1:00pm
Tuition is $120 for the six-session parent-child groups and $240 for the 12-session older groups. Enrollment is for the full fall season.
Curiosity matters more than speed or already knowing advanced mathematics.

Groups will be confirmed once there is enough enrollment for a lively small-group experience. If a group does not come together, families will be offered another good-fit option or a full refund.
