Islington Health and History Walk: Caledonian Clock Tower Park

In partnership with Islington Council, come on this entertaining walk. Meat, markets and mayhem – there is so much history in and around Caledonian Park. Discover London’s Metropolitan Meat Market – the iconic clock tower still stands in the middle of the park – as well as the subsequent ‘Cally’ market. There are stories of radicalism and huge political rallies as well as the riotous history of Londoners at play in the 18th and 19th century pleasure gardens.
