Discover secrets of Richmond Park's lost waterways with Andrew Mayfield, project archaeologist for the Royal Parks
About this Event

CBA London invites you to join us for an adventure discovering the historic waterways and archaeology of Richmond Park.

The walk will visit various conduits and reservoirs that have supplied water both inside and outside the park over the past five hundred years.

We'll also have a chance to hear about the Royal Parks' new Lost Waterways archaeology project which Andrew is leading, and see some of the other archaeological sites in the park.

Note:

Refunds are only available if the event is sold out and tickets can be purchased by someone on the waiting list.

Transport to Richmond Park is set out here: https://www.royalparks.org.uk/visit/parks/richmond-park/faqs#park-menu

It may be possible to offer lifts to a few people from central London.

Most of the walk is on the flat but to visit the sites on Petersham slopes we will descend slightly downhill (and back uphill again) to see the features.
